These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services and website operated by Recur ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
1. Service Description
Recur provides digital marketing services including review generation, reputation management, Google Business Profile optimisation (“Maps Ranking Services”), website optimisation for search engine ranking (SEO), and related marketing support.
We work to improve your online visibility and reputation. While we apply proven strategies and industry best practices, results can vary depending on external factors. We do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., number of reviews, website traffic, or exact rankings) except where expressly stated under our 90-Day Guarantee for Maps Rankings (see Section 12).
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information about your business, including website access, Google Business Profile access, analytics tools, and any other data required for optimisation.
Ensure all customer data you provide has been lawfully obtained, with the necessary consents for review outreach or communication.
Cooperate with our requests for information, reviews, and other actions reasonably required to achieve optimisation.
Use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable UK laws, including data protection and privacy laws.
Remain responsible for the accuracy of business information (opening hours, addresses, services, content, etc.).
Not engage in spam, misleading review solicitation, or any attempt to manipulate review platforms.
3. Data Protection & Privacy
We are committed to complying with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. You can read our Privacy Policy for more details on how we process data.
You are responsible for ensuring that any customer data shared with us has been collected with proper consent for the purpose of review outreach.
Where special category data (such as health-related information) is shared, the client warrants that they have obtained the explicit consent of the data subject for the purposes of review solicitation and management, in line with Article 9 of the UK GDPR. Recur Reviews will apply enhanced security and confidentiality measures in accordance with applicable law.
3.1 Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Where we process personal data on your behalf, Recur acts as a data processor and you act as the data controller, as defined under the UK GDPR. Our processing activities shall be governed by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of these Terms by reference.

You agree that:
You have obtained all necessary consents and lawful grounds to share customer data with us.
You shall not provide us with special category data (e.g. health information) unless explicit consent has been obtained from the data subject.
You will comply with your obligations as a data controller under applicable data protection laws.
3.2 Security Measures
Recur implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:
Encryption of data at rest and in transit
Role-based access controls and restricted data access
Secure authentication and account access protocols
Use of GDPR-compliant sub-processors with contractual safeguards
Regular internal audits and data protection reviews
Incident response planning and breach notification procedures
We regularly assess and update our data security practices to ensure continued protection of personal data.
3.3 Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to deliver our services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Upon termination of our agreement, data will be securely deleted or anonymised within 60 days, unless retention is legally required or requested by the client for auditing purposes.
4. Fees and Payments
All fees are agreed prior to the start of service and are payable in advance unless otherwise stated. Our standard billing cycle is every 90 days (quarterly), unless otherwise agreed in writing. All fees are payable in advance. Late or missed payments may result in suspension or termination. Fees are non-refundable except as set out in the 90-Day Guarantee.
5. Intellectual Property
Content we create specifically for your business (e.g. GBP posts, SEO website content) becomes your property once all fees have been paid in full.
All internal systems, processes, templates, and software remain the intellectual property of Recur or its licensors.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our platform and content solely for your own business purposes.
You must not reverse-engineer, copy, reproduce, or share Recur’s proprietary systems, materials, or strategies with any third party without prior written consent. All confidential information shared during the engagement must be kept strictly confidential.
6. Term and Termination
This agreement auto-renews every 90 days unless cancelled with at least 14 days’ written notice prior to the next billing cycle. Cancellation requires attending a brief exit interview call with Recur. Written notice alone does not constitute final cancellation until the exit interview has taken place. Upon termination, all outstanding fees become immediately due.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recur shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.Any loss of profits, business, or data arising out of your use of our services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us during the relevant 90-day term.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recur from any claims, losses, damages, or legal fees arising from:
Your breach of these Terms.Your misuse of our services.Your failure to comply with applicable data protection laws.
9. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party service providers (e.g., GoHighLevel, Zapier, Facebook, Google) to deliver aspects of our service. Where customer data is shared with third-party sub-processors, we ensure such providers implement adequate safeguards and data protection measures in line with the UK GDPR.
You acknowledge that:
These services are governed by their own terms.
We are not responsible for any third-party service interruptions or issues.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, cyber-attacks, service outages).
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes, and your continued use of our services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. 90-Day Guarantee – “Top 3 or Your Money Back”
We guarantee that within the first 90 days, your Google Business Profile will rank in the top 3 positions of the Google Maps “local pack” for at least one agreed high-intent keyword in at least one agreed target location.
Definitions & Conditions:
Keywords and target locations must be mutually agreed upon and documented at the start of the term.
Target locations are limited to:
within a 5-mile radius of your business address listed on your Google Business Profile
Ranking performance will be measured using third-party local SEO tracking tools.
“Top 3 ranking” means visibility in the first 3 positions of the Google Business Profile local map pack (“Map Pack”).
Guarantee applies only if you have:
Provided timely access and cooperation throughout the term
Not paused or terminated services during the initial 90 days
Submitted any refund request in writing within 5 business days of the 90-day term ending
Remedy if Not Achieved:
If a Top 3 ranking is not achieved for at least one agreed keyword/location within 90 days, you are entitled to a full refund of the initial quarterly fee.
Recur has 30 days after the initial term ends to attempt final rectification before issuing the refund.
Refunds do not apply to renewal terms beyond the initial 90 days.
12B. Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds are only available in accordance with the conditions set out in the 90-Day Guarantee (Section 12).
You agree not to initiate any chargebacks or payment disputes with your bank or payment provider for any fees covered under these Terms. Any concerns regarding billing or service delivery must be raised directly with Recur. Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve such issues in good faith.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
